    hiking access
    clean room
    overpriced amenities

Perfect location for hiking, with easy walking access to the river path and suspension bridge. Clean, simple room with a breakfast offering of yogurt, fruit, and waffles, ideal for pre-hike fuel.

Overpriced for standard amenities, which may reflect the affluent area. Bed quality was a sticking point, with many guests voicing discomfort, considering the mattresses felt like springs. Some experienced frustrating reservation issues, often leading to last-minute changes with little recourse or alternative solutions offered.

Loved the large room with a kitchenette! The heated bathroom features were quirky but fun. Only downside? The late check-in process had us a bit stressed, but the stay was overall super comfy and convenient. Would come back for sure!

    cozy room
    well-equipped kitchenette
    advanced bathroom features
    confusing toilet
    outdated furnishings

The room at Basalt Mountain Inn was super cozy and well-equipped with a kitchenette, allowing me to prepare snacks easily. I loved the advanced bathroom features like the heated toilet seat and automatic flushing. The cleanliness was top-notch, which made my stay feel welcoming and pleasant.

A bit confusing with the heating of the toilet seat.

    spacious rooms

The real deal or a total steal?

Spacious dual rooms with excellent kitchenette facilities made our family adventure seamless. The location right downtown brought us close to delightful restaurants and shops.

Dated furniture and limited breakfast options detracted from our overall experience, leaving us wanting more comfort during our stay.

    spacious room
    family-friendly activities
    check-in hassle

We had a lovely family stay at this inn, enjoying the nearby adventures like hiking the beautiful Lincoln Creek Trail. The kids loved the easy access to fun biking trails, and the room was spacious enough for our family of four to feel comfortable.

In my wife’s opinion, the late check-in process could use some improvement.

    clean room
    advanced bathroom
    poor mattress
    billing issues
    dated furnishings

The large, comfortable room came with a convenient kitchenette and featured an impressively advanced bathroom with a heated toilet seat and automatic flushing. Despite some dated furnishings, the cleanliness and overall atmosphere created a pleasant experience. Additionally, the hotel's eco-friendly approach, like bulk dispensers for toiletries, was a plus. However, the mattress quality was lacking, leading to a less than restful night, and a billing issue arose that made for a frustrating departure.

I had a delightful stay at Mountain Inn. The newly remodeled rooms provided a fresh, modern feel, and the kitchenette was a fantastic addition, perfect for preparing snacks after long workdays. The location was prime, with easy walking access to local dining, shopping, and scenic riverside walks, making it convenient for both work and relaxation.
